✓ This new requirement impacts only 15 boards under the Florida Department of Health. (see full list below)

✓ All professions under each affected board will be required to complete this course.

✓ This is a one time requirement that licensees must complete before January 1, 2021.

✓ Most existing Human Trafficking courses are approved for General hours only.  If you have an existing course that would satisfy this new requirement, you will need to resubmit the existing course as a new course to the board for approval in this new subject area.  This can be done through your CE Broker account.

✓ This course will route to the board for approval, with the exception of the Florida Board of Medicine, Board of Osteopathic Medicine, and Physician Assistants.

✓ When submitting your course application, you will need to attach documentation that the course addresses the following topics:

  • Both sex trafficking and labor trafficking
