National certification:
Effective 6/1/2022, APRN licensees (CRNA, CNP, and CNS) must maintain national certification. A digital copy of the specialty certification/recertification card will need to be presented at the time of each subsequent renewal.
To Report National Certification:
1. Log in to CE Broker then Click the ⊕Report CE button
2. For accounts with multiple licenses, verify that the license you intend to report for is selected.
- Click the Additional Options menu
3. Select the current CE Cycle date range from the dropdown menu. Two options will appear, with DEA or without DEA.
4. Click Begin next to the option that describes your license scenario. Follow the steps to upload your National Certification card.
Note:
- If you do not have DEA, that’s it you’re done!
- For those APRNs who prescribe controlled substances and have a DEA, the additional requirements for five hours of non-cancer pain management continuing education according to 16.12.9.10 NMAC will automatically be added to your requirements.
