You don't need a CE Broker account to search for board-approved courses. Anyone can use the free Course Search tool to browse approved courses by state and profession, then visit the provider's website to enroll. This is useful if you're Pre-Licensed, Preliminary, or an Intern and aren't yet eligible for an account.
CE Broker tracks continuing education compliance only for professionals with active licenses that their issuing board or Regulating Entity has integrated into our system.
If you are Pre-Licensed, Preliminary, or licensed as an Intern, you can't yet create a CE Broker account — but you can still use the Course Search tool to explore board-approved courses for any state and profession we track.
To get started, visit the Course Search page, enter your state and profession, and browse the most up-to-date list of approved courses offered by thousands of educational providers.
How to find approved courses without an account
1. Go to www.cebroker.com and click Find Courses at the top of the page.
2. Enter your state and profession, then browse the up-to-date list of approved courses from thousands of educational providers.
3. Click any course in the list to expand its details.
4. Select the educational provider's name to open their profile page.
5. On the provider's profile, click their web link to leave CE Broker and view their course offerings directly. The profile often lists a phone number if you have questions.
Important: If you're searching for courses to meet Pre-Licensing or Intern requirements, you can't create an account or purchase/complete courses labeled "TAKE IT HERE" directly through CE Broker. Instead, follow the steps above to reach the approved provider's website and complete your course there.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I create an account?
CE Broker accounts are only for professionals with an active license from a Board that has partnered with CE Broker to track continuing education. Pre-Licensed, Preliminary, and Intern statuses aren't eligible yet.
I have an intern license. Can I make an account?
No. You can't create a CE Broker account while your license status is Intern. You'll be able to create one once your board issues your full, active license. In the meantime, use the Course Search tool to find approved courses.
I'm an intern / I have an intern permit / I have a temporary license — how do I sign up?
You can't sign up yet. Account creation isn't available for intern, interim, or temporary license statuses. Once your full license is active, follow [Creating a CE Broker Account]. Until then, you can still search for approved courses using the steps above.
Can I take the course inside CE Broker?
Not if you're using Course Search without an account. You'll complete the course on the provider's own website. Courses marked "TAKE IT HERE" require an eligible account.
How do I know a course is approved?
Every course in Course Search is board-approved for the state and profession you selected.
