Activating a new CE Broker account is a simple, automated process. However, when entering your license number, you might receive a message indicating, license number not found:

There are two reasons this may happen.
1. You need to select the correct state.
CE Broker currently tracks professions for more than 100 regulating boards and agencies. If you select the wrong state, the system will produce a message that your license number is not found.
To ensure the system locates the correct license number, click Plans at the top of the screen:

Then Select Your Location.

If you click the down arrow, you can select the appropriate state, country, or National/Certifying Board. Once the correct location is selected, click Save and Continue.
You can now select your preferred plan: Professional, Concierge, or the Free Basic account. This time, when prompted for your license number, the system will match your license number and state.
2. The license number format is incorrect.
There is no universal standard for license numbers, and license number formats can vary from state to state. When typing in your license number, it must be added exactly as it appears on your state website. This includes all numbers, letters, spaces, and punctuation.
Common license number mistakes include:
-
Missing numbers
-
Missing letters
-
Missing punctuation
-
Missing qualifiers
You can contact your regulating board if you need further clarification on your license number format. If you confirm your license number and format are correct, but continue to receive the license not found message, please get in touch with our support team for further assistance.
