Your web browser (like Chrome, Safari, etc.) saves data. These files are temporarily stored by your system. Clearing your cache means deleting temporary data your web browser stores to help websites load faster. Doing this can improve performance, free up storage space, and fix issues with apps or websites. During troubleshooting, it helps ensure stored data isn’t interfering with software performance.
Steps to Clearing Your Cache for Our Recommended Browser(Chrome):
1. Open Chrome.
2. Click the three dots (⋮) in the upper-right corner and select Settings.
3. Scroll to Privacy and Security, then click on Delete browsing data.
3. Select Cached images and files and choose the time range. Click Delete data.
Alternatively, you can refresh your page to pull from the website, not your cache by selecting keys: Ctrl+F5 on a Windows device or Cmd+Shift+R on a Macintosh device.
