As an educational provider, you'll likely need to update the instructors associated with your courses. This article explains how to add or delete instructors from your approved and active courses. When You Can Manage Instructors
You can manage instructors only when your course status is "Approved" and "Active." While a course is in "Pending" status, you won't be able to make any changes to the instructor list. Adding or Deleting Instructors
There are two primary ways to add or delete instructors from your provider account. The recommended method, especially for general instructor management, is through the "Instructors" tab in the "Course" section. This allows you to create and edit instructors from a centralized location, making them available for any course.
To add or delete instructors using this method:
- Navigate to the "Instructors" tab within the "Course" section of your provider account.
- From this page, you will find options to create new instructors or edit existing ones.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete your desired action.
Important Note: Editing Instructor Names
Currently, you cannot directly edit an existing instructor's name within the system. If you need to correct an instructor's name or make any changes to their details, you will need to:
- Delete the incorrect instructor entry.
- Add a new instructor with the correct information.
What if I need to add an instructor to a specific course?
While the recommended method above is for general instructor management, you can also add instructors directly to an already created course. This is useful if you are working on a specific course and need to quickly assign an instructor.
