Once approved as an Educational Provider by a Board, you can submit new courses for approval via your CE Broker account by logging in, selecting the Courses tab, and following the application steps, including attaching required documents with descriptions. CE Broker does not approve courses; Boards review and may request additional information. Check course status and communications within your account.
Submitting New Courses as an Education Provider
1. Log in to your account and click the Courses tab
2. Click on the + New Course tab
3. Review the course application requirements for the specific Board to which you are submitting the course. Prepare any necessary documentation to expedite the process.
4. Click the Next button to continue. Fill in the required information as you progress through the application (ie: course name, subject area)
If the system automatically skips over a question section during the creation process, it simply means that section does not apply to your situation and is not required to complete the application.
5. The Attachments page is where you upload documents that will be sent to the Board as part of your course application.
Each Board has its own requirements for what documents must be included, and you will see a list of those requirements on this page directly above the attachment section.
To add a document, click the Choose File button and select the file from your device. After selecting the file, enter a brief description of the document (for example, “Course Summary”) so the Regulatory Entity can easily identify it during their review.
Once the description is added, click Upload File to attach the document to your course application. You can repeat this process to upload additional files if needed.
6. Be sure to click the Next button to advance the submission form, until you get to the end where you’ll click the Finish button to submit your new course.
What to Expect Next
CE Broker does not approve continuing education courses. Depending on the Board, newly submitted courses may need to be reviewed and approved before they can be offered to licensees for credit. If your course requires approval, you can check the status of your application directly within your CE Broker account by selecting the Courses tab and locating the relevant course. Be sure to also review the Communications tab, as the Board may request additional information or clarification during the review process.
