Many State Board-approved providers report your course completions to your CE Broker account. This can take up to 30 days, though the exact time varies by provider.
If you are facing a deadline or if the educational provider doesn't report to CE Broker, you can always self-report your hours using the instructions below.
Concierge members don't need to self-report! Simply send your certificates to your account manager, and we'll handle the rest!
Before you begin the manual reporting process, make sure you have your CE certificate documentation readily available. You may also be required to attach a digital copy of your certificate.
How to self-report your CE/CME:
1. Log in to your CE Broker account.
2. Click ⊕ Report CE at the top of the page.
3. For accounts with multiple licenses, verify that the license you intend to report for is selected. Then make sure the Report CE/CME tab is selected.
Credits that are applicable to multiple licenses must be reported to each license individually.
If you have been issued individual certificates of completion, they must be reported individually for each licensure as well.
4. Determine which type of CE you want to report from the list of reporting options.
-
Which reporting option you choose can depend on how your completed credit was approved, and what types of approved credit are accepted by your licensing entity to apply to your requirements.
-
Click Learn More ˅ and How to Report ˅ to review more information about each category if you are unsure which option is most applicable.
5. To begin, click Report next to the appropriate option.
Unless otherwise indicated, credits must be reported one certificate at a time.
-
If your Board allows multiple courses to be reported at once, this will be specifically stated next to the appropriate reporting option as shown in the example below.
(Renewal packages presented in the CE Broker Course Search are considered a single course and issue a single certificate upon completion.)
6. Answer the questions as prompted. The questions will vary depending on your regulating board and can include: the date completed, course type, number of hours, name of educational provider, name of course, etc.
All of this information should be listed on your certificate of completion. As you answer the questions, be sure to click Continue to advance the submission form.
7. Once you reach the Attachments page, you’re almost done! Attach your certificate of completion, or select ‘Maintain Your Own Documentation’ if available, then click Continue.
8. Now you’re ready to submit your CE. On the final page, you will attest that the information you entered is true. Simply click Submit CE to complete the reporting process.
Your self-reported credit is recorded to your CE Broker course history immediately, which gives your Board instant access to it.
Please note that the Tennessee Real Estate Commission (TREC) and the Ohio State Cosmetology Board do not permit self-reporting.
