Your CE Broker account shows compliance status as Complete if all required continuing education (CE) courses are reported and fulfilled for your license cycle. If the status is Not Complete, either some CE credits are missing or not reported. You can check your Requirements tab against your Course History to identify missing credits. Upgrading your account unlocks tools to track CE compliance and calculate needed credits. Once complete, you can renew your license with your board.
Determining Your Compliance Status
My account says Complete ✅
Congratulations! The courses reported to your CE Broker account have fulfilled the continuing education requirements for this license period. Because your regulating entity is linked to your account, they can see your course history and compliance status at any time. When you notice your status as complete, you can proceed to your state website to review the next steps for your license renewal.
My account says Not Complete 🔺
If your compliance status says Not Complete, that means one of two things. Either the CE credit you have completed hasn’t been reported as required, or the CE credit required has not been completed.
To figure out what's missing or what else you need to do in order to be complete, you can refer to your Requirements tab and compare them to your Course History to manually calculate what’s missing. You will need to manually calculate your requirements by comparing each subject area in the requirement tab with each course posted to your course history. As long as your posted courses match the requirement tab, you should be complete.
Once all required courses are reported to your CE Broker account, your status will immediately change to Complete, and you will be ready to renew directly with your board!
How to Use the Requirements Tab with a Basic Account to determine what is missing:
The Requirements tab is a general outline of renewal requirements and does not reflect your individual, real-time completion progress.
- Verify the Transcript Cycle date range to confirm the period for which the requirements apply.
- Carefully read the requirements breakdown, noting the number of hours required for each subject area. For example, if the requirement tab says you need 2 hours of "Medical Errors", then you need to verify that there is one or more courses specifically reported for that subject area in your course history. You can click on the course to view the subject area, that way you can confirm that it covers the requirement.
- Track your compliance manually. As a Basic user, you must use the Requirements tab as a checklist. Manually compare the courses you have completed and reported in your account against these requirements to determine your current progress toward compliance.
