CE Broker automatically updates continuing education (CE) cycle dates based on state board renewal requirements, typically on a biennial schedule. Updates occur at the cycle start date, not upon early license renewal. If your account shows outdated cycle dates after the new cycle begins, you can request a manual update by submitting your renewed license and cycle dates to CE Broker support via email or chat.
Understanding Cycle Updates
Your continuing education (CE) cycle dates are determined by your state board's renewal requirements. In CE Broker, these cycles are programmed to update automatically to ensure your compliance tracking remains accurate for each renewal period.
Most professional licenses operate on a biennial (two-year) renewal schedule. Your CE Broker account will typically transition to the new cycle once the current one has officially concluded.
For example, if your current cycle runs from 01/01/2024 to 12/31/2025, the system is designed to update on 01/01/2026 to reflect the new cycle dates and requirements.
Note: If you complete your license renewal with the board before the current cycle deadline, your CE Broker account will not display the new dates immediately. The update occurs based on the cycle start date, not the date of your renewal application.
Requesting a Manual Cycle Update
If your new cycle has officially begun but your account still displays the previous dates, a manual adjustment may be required. To request an update, please follow these steps:
Obtain a digital copy or clear photo of your renewed license showing the new expiration date.
Confirm the specific start and end dates for your upcoming CE cycle as defined by your board.
Submit this information via email to our team, and we will get the CE Cycle updated accordingly.
