Using the CE Broker Course Search
CE Broker is not an educational provider; however, all courses listed in the CE Broker Course Search have been pre-approved by the appropriate regulating entities to meet continuing education requirements.
There are a variety of course options available to help you satisfy your specific requirements, including courses that can be completed directly through your CE Broker account and reported instantly upon completion.
If you are Pre-Licensed or currently licensed as an Intern, you will not be eligible to create a CE Broker account. However, you may still use the CE Broker Course Search tool to explore board-approved courses for states and professions that are tracked in our system. Simply visit the Course Search page, enter your state and profession, and browse the most up-to-date list of approved courses offered by thousands of educational providers.
1. Log in to your CE Broker.
2. Click on Find Courses at the top of the screen.
3. To search for a specific subject area, click the All Subject Areas ▾ drop-down menu located next to your profession. From there, you can scroll through and review the available subject options.
Once you select a subject area, the page will automatically refresh to display only the courses that have been approved by the Board for that specific requirement.
4. To further refine your search results, use the Filters panel on the left side of the search page. Click on any filter to expand it and view additional options.
You can filter by a preferred educational provider, adjust the course type or delivery method, or search using keywords. The page will automatically reload with each selection to show courses that match your chosen criteria.
To view only the courses that can be taken directly through your CE Broker account, toggle on the Take it Here option.
5. You can also sort the courses by number of CE hours awarded upon completion, and by the cost of purchase by clicking Sort by ▾ drop down option.
6. Click on any course that interests you to view more detailed information. Once expanded, several key sections can help you decide if the course is right for you:
Course Details – Shows how and when the course is offered, as well as how credit will be reported.
Overview – Provides a summary of the course content.
Subject Areas – Indicates which Board approves the course and which licensees will receive the specific type and amount of credit upon completion.
How to Contact an Education Provider
If you need additional information about a course, you can contact the education provider directly. To do this, click on the provider's name to view their profile page. From there, you can use the provided web link to navigate to their site and explore course options. This profile page also often includes a contact phone number for any questions you may have once you leave the CE Broker website.
Course Types in the CE Broker Course Search
Depending on the type of course, the button near the price will either say Learn More or Add to Cart. Courses labeled Learn More are offered outside of CE Broker and will take you directly to the education provider’s website so you can enroll. Courses labeled Add to Cart can be completed directly within your CE Broker account on the CE Broker platform.
Purchasing Take It Here Courses
Courses marked with a Take it Here label can be added to your cart for purchase, allowing you to access and complete the course directly from your CE Broker account.
To do this, simply add the course to your cart. Once added, you can review your selections by clicking the shopping cart 🛒 icon at the top of the screen or by selecting the View Cart button next to the course.
You can review your cart to remove courses or proceed with your purchase by selecting Checkout. If you have any promotional codes, be sure to enter them before completing your order.

What is a Take It Here course?
A Take It Here course is one you can purchase and complete directly within your CE Broker account, rather than on an outside provider's website. Look for the Take It Here label, or toggle on the Take It Here filter to see only these courses.
What is the difference between a "Learn More" and an "Add to Cart" course?
"Learn More" courses are offered outside CE Broker and link to the provider's website to enroll. "Add to Cart" courses are Take It Here courses you can complete directly inside your CE Broker account.
Can I find approved courses without a CE Broker account?
Yes. You can use the Course Search tool without an account by entering your state and profession on the Course Search page. This is the option for Pre-Licensed and Intern licensees, who are not eligible to create an account.
How do I find courses for a specific requirement or subject area?
Use the All Subject Areas ▾ drop-down next to your profession and select the subject you need. The results will show only courses approved by your Board for that requirement.
Does CE Broker create or teach these courses?
No. CE Broker is not an educational provider. Courses are offered by educational providers, and CE Broker lists those that have been pre-approved to meet continuing education requirements.
How do I know how many CE hours a course is worth?
Each course listing shows the hours awarded. You can also sort results by number of CE hours using the Sort by ▾ drop-down. The Subject Areas section of a listing shows the type and amount of credit each licensee receives.
Will a Take It Here course report to my account automatically?
Yes, once the course is completed in CE Broker, it will automatically post your credits. Please note that bundle courses will need to be fully completed before obtaining your CE credits.
Can I get a refund on a Take It Here course after purchase?
Yes, you can request a refund for any Take It Here course you've purchased in the last 30 days.
How do I find free courses?
Use the Course Search to check for free options. On the Course Search page, apply the Filters panel or the Sort by ▾ drop-down to sort or filter by price, then review whether any free courses are available for your profession. Availability varies by profession and by what educational providers are currently offering, so free courses aren't guaranteed. If you don't find a free course that fits your requirement, you can also look for other educational providers outside of CE Broker.
How do I find live courses?
Use the Course Search and open the Filters panel on the left. Under course type or delivery method, select Live to see whether any live courses are being offered for your profession. Live offerings vary by profession and by educational provider, so they aren't guaranteed. If you don't find a live course that meets your needs, remember that CE Broker isn't the only place to look — you can also explore other educational providers outside of CE Broker.
